Blogmas | Day 5 | Boot Camp
I'm loving the styles of boots around at the moment, especially fringed ones and I really want a pair but Christmas has got me financially unstable. I've also had these ones on my ASOS saved list for just over a month now, because they give simple black boots a great twist, which you can style with just about anything.
What style of boots are you into this year?

Blogmas | Day 2 | Chocolate Bark
I wrote on Twitter for Blogmas Day 1 "start as I mean to go on". Well... I can't even get to day 2 without being about 12 hours late. Damn.
Without further ado, today I'm going to show you my chocolate bark recipe. I first made this for Halloween, but I think it's perfect for a Christmas party or small get together because it's so quick and easy to make.
You will need..
- 200g chocolate
- 1 multi pack of Kit Kats
- 1 small pack of gummy sweets
- 1 tube of smarties
- 1 baking tray
- Butter for greasing
- Baking parchment
- Spatula
Instructions
- Grease the baking tin and line it with the baking parchment.
- Break the chocolate up into small squares and melt it in the microwave for minutes at a time until it if fully melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the baking tray and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
- Place your Kit Kat sticks within the chocolate randomly, making sure that the bottom has been pressed in and not just resting on the surface.
- Place the rest of your sweets between and around the Kit Kat sticks.
- Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until it is solid and ready to be eaten.
It literally takes about 5 to 10 minutes to put together and if you wanted you could use white chocolate or red, white and green smarties to make it even more festive!

Blogmas! | Day 1 | First Day of Advent
For today's blogmas I thought it would be more than appropriate to celebrate the first day of advent. I'm sure I'm not the only one who still gets excited about opening my advent calenders, there's just something a bit more exciting about the thought of advent chocolate than the thought of a normal sized bar of chocolate, don't you think?
I've got two advent calenders this year - a Dairy Milk one and Thornton's classic Snowman and Snowdog, which are both looking super cute on my dressing table right now. We've also got an advent candle that I'm desperately waiting to light because it just smells amazing!
It feels like I haven't blogged in ages so I'm definitely up for the challenge to blog every day and it just makes the lead up to Christmas a little more exciting. Over the month I'll be doing fashion-y posts, gift ideas, recipes and various other bits and I'm very excited about doing blogmas.
