On the 22nd of September, the BFC Show Space presented another Spring/Summer 16 catwalk and this time it was Christopher Raeburn’s turn.
Against an ambient soundtrack, the models walked down the
catwalk in clothes that truly represented the season. This season follows a
colour scheme that of pastel yellows, monochrome, khakis and cornflower blues.
Perfect for the transition from winter into spring and then into summer.
Dresses, skirts, sleeveless long-line jackets, trench coats
and heavy sandals, from his collaboration with Clarks, were the key items
modelled in the show with ribbed, panelled and sheer loose fabrics, almost as
if the models were floating down the runway in the early spring breeze as the
tweeting of birds played in the background.
The model’s natural make up and scraped back hairstyles
portrayed a laid back, summer atmosphere in conjunction with Raeburn’s
ready-to-wear collection.
Thank you Christopher for an excellent show, I certainly
enjoyed it whilst pretending to be studying!!
