Top Outfits of January

I've been trying to mix up what I wear for the last month and not sticking so much to my uniform of black jeans and a jumper. As comfy as that is, it gets a bit boring and I feel like I compare myself too much to girls on Instagram etc. The game is back on though. The ASOS sequinned vest is my absolute favourite and even though its a little bit jazzy and I've been wearing it to every party I go to, you could still get away with wearing it in the day depending on what you wear it with - it's definitely a transitional piece!

Today I thought I'd do a quick Outfit Of The Day minus my face, and use my white (it is white I promise) wall instead. I put these bits together because the colours are really autumnal and winter-y and the dark burgundy colours contrast really well with the white cardigan. I've got a bit of pattern in there, as well as some faux fur (to an extent) and partnered with some black tights and ankle boots it looks perfect for this time of year. I think it's generally a bit more exciting than you're average black jeans and massive jumper as you stuff layer on layer underneath it in effort to stay warm.

The weather's been getting a lot colder recently and Autumn's finally starting to show it's face, so I used that as inspiration when putting together this outfit, especially with the autumnal colours which I just love. I would usually pair these shorts with a black top and my black leather jacket but I recently brought this mustard H&M jumper and I knew it would go perfectly with the yellow in the shorts. I also paired this outfit with my suede Chelsea boots from Schuh and when it gets a bit colder I'll probably add my leather jacket on top.

Today I went for the blue and white colour scheme, which I teamed with a navy blue hoodie (Hollister), a navy blue body wamer (Zara) and my grey Nike Blazers. I'm really loving stripes at the moment and I think they're definitely going to be a lasting trend.
