Bedroom | Before and After

Before...

The process...

 And after...

I first wanted to redo my room back in August. 4 months on and it's actually happened! Before, my room looked a little bit like a 13 year old girl had gone crazy, there was way too much going on and it just needed calming down a bit. Then, when my Grandad said he had some spare paint, the idea started to come to life.

Once the painting was done we had a cheeky day out to IKEA. Harry had never been before *gasp* so we went full out. Meatballs and all. I brought two mirrors, a clock, some cactuses, some candles and holders, a lamp, a bed side table, bed set, pillows, throw, and a hanging storage thing for my wardrobe. Oops...

The time has finally come though! It's gone the complete opposite direction to how it looked before. Through all of the paint wars, arguments, anxiety attacks and hard work, it's all come together. And quite nicely too if I do say so myself.

Norwich | Shopping and Adventures

This weekend me and Harry got the opportunity to go up to Norfolk for a little bit of a getaway. It had it's ups and downs but I was so happy I finally got the chance to go, as my dad lived up there for work when I was younger and never got to visit him. It was also tres nice to get away from college work and spend a couple of days literally just chilling.

We went up on the Friday afternoon, getting up there about 7. Nothing really relevant to talk about there except for the fact that we met Professor Green *eeeek* and he made me feel like the smallest person in the world when we took this picture with him.

On Saturday we got to have a bit of a wander and shop around Norwich city. Starting off at Riverside, which I must add is so so pretty in the autumn, and ending up at the Intu Chapelfield. It was nice just discovering Norwich's many hairdressers and churches. I'm sorry Norwich but 5 churches down one road is just a little bit too much... A LOT of money was also spent so I'll probably do some sort of haul in the near future.

Sunday was our last day and to really finish things off it pissed it down. In the morning we went to Horsey to look at the grey seals and into Great Yarmouth (bit of a shit hole if I'm going to be honest) to get some brunch. After lunch we headed to the nature reserve where Harry's brother works and had a bit of a look round there before setting off back home. Sadly we didn't make any more famous bff's on the way back but we did get back in time for X Factor and I'm A Celebrity!

If I'm going to be honest I liked Norwich more than I thought I would. There's a lot more going on than I thought and a lot of photo opportunities!

Do you want some mustard with that? - OOTD

Jumper - H&M - £7.99
Shorts - Topshop - old
Tights - Primark - £3.50

The weather's been getting a lot colder recently and Autumn's finally starting to show it's face, so I used that as inspiration when putting together this outfit, especially with the autumnal colours which I just love. I would usually pair these shorts with a black top and my black leather jacket but I recently brought this mustard H&M jumper and I knew it would go perfectly with the yellow in the shorts. I also paired this outfit with my suede Chelsea boots from Schuh and when it gets a bit colder I'll probably add my leather jacket on top.

I was brought these shorts for Christmas last year but you can find similar pairs hereherehere and here.

Last week: Swanage & Airbourne

001. Deciding which pictures to choose for this post was so hard because there was so many. I had to push two posts into one because I've got so many ideas for posts that I'm going to run out of time to the point that they'll all become irrelevant. But last week I went on holiday to Swanage in Dorset and then over the weekend Airbourne was on in Eastbourne - my camera was loving it.

002. We went to Swanage from Sunday to Thursday and all in all it was lovely. We go there every year and despite the forecast, the sun comes out every time which is perfect with the sandy beach and wanders round the cute shops. Because Harry came this year there wasn't space in the car to go travelling around but on the Tuesday we caught the bus to Tower Park (highly recommend if you're near Poole) and on Wednesday it was Dad's birthday so we hired some kayaks. The only downside to the holiday was the fact that we stayed in a youth hostel. It was dirty, the room was incredibly cramped, it hadn't been refurbished in about 25 years and just overall tragic to say the least, so if anyone's looking to stay in Swanage any time soon, don't consider it!

003. From Thursday to Sunday Eastbourne held it's annual airshow Airbourne and I have to say it's one of my favourite events during the year. The atmosphere is always great and the displays never disappoint, especially from The Red Arrows. Because I missed out last year I went on Saturday with the family and then on Sunday with Harry and both were completely different. The weather was lovely on Saturday, we had a picnic on the beach and The Arrows did a more large scale display with more moves (I can't think of a better word I'm sorry); whereas on Sunday the weather was a bit cloudier so there wasn't as many 'moves' and they were closer. Each was equally as good though.

Manchester Day 2

Day 2 dragged on a bit. We started off with a bit of culture at the town hall, the John Ryland libary and the Museum of Science and Industry, then me, mum and my nan did a spot of shopping in the Arndale followed by a bit of walking around the top left hand corner of Manchester to places like the big wheel, the National Football Musuem and the Phones 4 U Arena where I'll be going next year.

I'm a typical teenager when it comes to museums and cultural things. It really doesn't amuse me in the slightest but it did surprise me a bit because the architecture is pretty great, like the John Ryland libary which had been partly refurbished for public access yet they still had bits of the original design and the 100 year old toilets. To be honest I was amazed by the architecture everywhere, from the office blocks to some really cute resturants and bars.

It was an alright day I suppose but to top it all off my back and my feet absolutely killed after someone decided that we wouldn't use trams or buses but walk everywhere instead.
