Oscars 2016: 88th Academy Awards
Award season would never be the same if it wasn't for the array of dresses that floated down the catwalk every year. Whether it's Bjork's *cough*fascinating*cough* swan dress in 2001 or Lupita Wyong'o's stunning pastel blue Prada dress in 2014, 'who wore what' is always a major talking point.
This year was no exception and I've chosen my top 8 outfits from the likes of Brie Larson (Best Actress) who wore a satin blue Gucci gown and Rooney Mara who wore Gucci couture to Lady Gaga, who wore a Brandy Maxwell jumpsuit.
Saoirse Ronan and Naomi Watts proved that sequins are still in, which I am a massive fan of whilst Rachel McAdams went the other direction and equally proved that less is more in her beautiful sea green August Getty gown. Jennifer Lawrence rocked the red carpet yet again, in a Dior Couture sheer lace dress styled by Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson and I look forward to seeing what Dior come up with next year!
My absolute favourite dress though was Olivia Wilde's Valentino 2016 couture dress with a *very* plunging neck line and neat pleats which made her look as graceful as ever. Accessorised with a silver choker and a braided up-do, she looked 110% flawless. I'm loving the pleated trend right now and I'm desperately looking for a skirt that won't make my legs look any shorter and stumpier than they already are!
What was your favourite dress from the 2016 Oscars?

Top Outfits of January
1. Top - ASOS & Jeans - Topshop
2. Top - ASOS, Leggings - H&M & Vest - Topshop
3. Jumper - Topshop, Jeans - Topshop & Trainers - Office
4. Skirt - Miss Selfridge, Top - H&M, Tights - Primark & Scarf - Zara
5. Tee - Topshop
I've been trying to mix up what I wear for the last month and not sticking so much to my uniform of black jeans and a jumper. As comfy as that is, it gets a bit boring and I feel like I compare myself too much to girls on Instagram etc. The game is back on though. The ASOS sequinned vest is my absolute favourite and even though its a little bit jazzy and I've been wearing it to every party I go to, you could still get away with wearing it in the day depending on what you wear it with - it's definitely a transitional piece!

What's On My Pandora
I've had my Pandora for a couple of years now. My aunt gave it to me for my 16th birthday and I've only just managed to fill up the first section! I'm not a massive wearer of jewellery but I absolutely love my bracelet and I want to share with you what charms I have on it. I'll do my best to link them up for you too. x
The first two I brought on my 16th were the white and pink daisy clips which I absolutely fell in love with because it was around the time when I was obsessed with the whole daisy print trend (as you'll see from this post). The second one (in from the left) was a present for prom from mum and dad. My bracelet was the only jewellery I wore to prom so it was quite subtle but I love the colours that you can get within in it at different lights. Next to that are three from Harry (I think its quite obvious and I'll link them here, here and here) and they're some of my favourites because I know how personal they are and they're all so different. The little suitcase between those and my daisy clip is another present from mum and dad to say well done for my A2 results and I chose it because it had a mini Eiffel Tower on it (we were going to Paris a few days after) and it represented my love for travel. I think it makes a difference to the hearts and flowers theme, as much as I love my other ones. You can probably see that those filled the first section up between my two clips and now I'm starting the next bit! Harry brought me this very sweet heart shaped charm with 'I love you' engraved on it for our 2 year anniversary and this is the most personal one for me I think.
For my next ones I'll probably either get another spacer or a chain just in case the charms ever decide they want to run away! This one and this one are both really pretty and so is this spacer but we'll see!
What's on your Pandora? I love seeing how other people have made there's up and the different charms they've found!

Blogmas | Day 24 | The Last Day of Blogmas!!
Christmas Eve is usually a time when my family finishes off the presents and just packs in a load of Christmas films and TV, circling what we want to watch on the Radio Times guide, but this year I have to work *sob*. I am literally wishing for a Christmas miracle that we get let off early and I can finally just sit and relax and maybe then I'll feel a little bit more excited.
I just want to say thank you to whoever took the time to give this all a read, I wasn't really expecting anyone to be bothered, let alone me finishing it!
Merry Christmas! I love you all :*

Blogmas | Day 23 | Gingerbread House
One of my favourite parts of Christmas time is taking part in annual traditions that have developed in the family over the years, and one of ours is making a gingerbread house. We started doing it 2 years ago and for some reason Harry and my brother were in charge and it just went a bit tits up. Luckily we've got better over time and I'm quite proud of my little gingerbread house that we made today, not sure if it's Insta-worthy or not but it's Christmas, who cares.
I can't believe it's Christmas Eve tomorrow. I hate to admit it but I really don't feel Christmassy at all. Maybe wearing a Christmas jumper to work, doing some last minute shopping and a pile of Christmas films will do it!
